Waxing Services for Men

Why only for men?  Alan is a male therapist who generally aims his techniqiues and practice at men​. Kilmarnock and the surrounding towns have many female practitioners offering services to both men and women, but particularly for some services many men just feel more comfortable with a male practitioner.

Waxing hair removal is a process involving application of warm melted honey sugar wax which is removed by cloth strips. The rapid action of removal limits the pain of hair plucking. 

Another method used on coarse hair or very sensitive areas is hard wax, which has a low melting temperature. This is applied in strips and quickly and evenly removed once set hard again.

Both systems provide a rapid and long lasting method of hair removal for men.

​

If you have never had waxing before it is recommended to have a patch test prior to treatment. It is also a good idea to begin with a small less sensitive area to see how you tolerate it. Actual removal of the hair can be a moment of shock - but almost  immediately feels okay afterwards and the instant smoothness is definitely worth a second of discomfort, if that is what you want to achieve.
